Position: Human Resources Officer.
Direct manager position: Sr. HR & Admin Officer.
Project/ Workplace: Northeast Syria, Deir Ezzor.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
University degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Bachelor of Business Administration, or related field.
Skills & Abilities:
1- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
2- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including intercultural communication.
3- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
4- Flexibility and adaptability to changing field conditions.
5- Know local labor laws and regulations in the field location.
6- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
6- Ability to work in a stressful environment and adapt quickly to changing environments.
General Description of the Role & Main Responsibilities:
Employment:
- Coordinate and lead the recruitment process in the field, including job posting, interviewing and reference checking.
- Ensure compliance with EEO regulations.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances in this area.
- Maximize ensuring a positive work environment and support for conflict resolution.
- Conduct regular field visits to communicate with employees and address HR-related issues.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs within field staff and coordinate training programs.
- Monitor employee development and assist with career advancement.
- Ensure compliance with professional development plans.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting and performance appraisal.
- Advising on recognition, remuneration and disciplinary action as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of employees related to performance appraisals.
HR Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure that HR policies and procedures are consistently applied in this area.
- Keep HR documents up-to-date and accurate, including employment contracts and employee files.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
