International Humanitarian Organization is seeking applications from potential candidates to fill in the following position under the humanitarian aid response. We are looking for motivated individuals, members of targeted community, ready and willing to work in dynamic team.

• Maintain the cleanness of the Office 1st floor: rooms (3), bathrooms (1), balcony (1), and meeting room (1): dusting, vacuuming, washing etc.
• Maintain the cleanness of the Office basement (Big meeting hall), arrange the meeting area to be ready for any event.
• Do the laundry in the office (kitchen towels included).
• Empty trash cans and ashtrays and make sure that all trash is properly disposed of.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper in bathrooms on a regular basis.
• Follow good hygienic rules in personal cleanliness.
• Assist with any cleaning and household work, as required.
• Assist in preparing for visitors and guests if required.
• Assist the supervisor in arranging the store and keep it clean.
• Identify needed repairs in the office and Guest houses and premises - alert the supervisor for action.
• Assist the supervisor to organize meetings and guests.
• Clean windows from inside and outside, using soap water or other cleaners, sponge, and squeegees.
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
• As maintenance assist oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a buildings or facilities either in office or the Guest houses.
• Maintain building inventories, put together furniture and heater system.
• Refilling the diesel heaters insure their functionality.
• Repairing and maintaining the organization’s premises electricity, replacing bulbs, and performing minor electrical work around the buildings.
• Responsible for doing basic carpentry work such as repairing door locks, fixing door joints, installing windows, repairing windows locks… etc.
• Maintenance of office and guest house generator and change the oil and filters on time.
• Maintenance of air conditioners and water conditioners, install the water conditions and fill the water in the water condition.
• Doing the basic plumping works, maintenance of water pumps and laundries, replacement of broken taps, opening of enclosed laundries...etc.
• Weekly checking of all buildings to insure the full functionality of the building.
• Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to the organization and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must have initiative and work largely unsupervised.
• Responsible and trustworthy, punctual.
• Elementary or secondary school.
• Experience in dealing with generators, operation/changing oil.
• Experience in basic plumping works.
• Knowledge of basic carpentry work.
• Well Conversant with general electricity.
