Direct manager position: Logistics Officer.
Project/ Workplace: Northeast Syria, Deir Ezzor.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Professional diploma or university degree in a Logistics-related field (Business Management, Economics, etc..)
· At least 1 year experience in a similar position preferably with an INGO.
· Advance its knowledge (hardware and software, Microsoft office, internet).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE (BRIEF):
· Logistics assistant is responsible to implement and manage all logistics activates of Deir Ezzor base, this position will be reports to DZ Logistic Officer.
General Description of the Role & Main Responsibilities:
· Daily logistics and procurement follow up in Deir Ezzor office and Shuheil Hospital when needed.
· Update procurement tracker.
· Monthly vesical assets count.
· Check drivers logbooks.
· Liaise with suppliers to ensure promote and accurate delivery of goods and services and received in good condition as per invoices, delivery notes and packing lists.
· Market assessment through quotations
· Update the price catalogue, supplier list and contract follow up.
· Perform purchase activities as per AFH procurement procedures.
· Receiving of supplier and maintain stock as per stock procedures
· Responsible for the payments for the suppliers
· Weekly reconciliation of purchase files with the cashier for payment
· Periodic physical inventory of stock
· Maintain all purchase files in orderly manner.
· Submitting monthly report (procurement tracker, physical inventory, other needed
· Reports) to line manager by monthly basis
· Any other tasks requested by line manager.
