Qualifications and Education Requirements:

·         Professional diploma or university degree in a Logistics-related field (Business Management, Economics, etc..)

·         At least 1 year experience in a similar position preferably with an INGO.

·         Advance its knowledge (hardware and software, Microsoft office, internet).

Skills & Abilities:

·      -    Required qualities: organized, sense of human relations, diplomacy,

·        -  Communication skills.

·      -    Desirable: proactive, autonomous, rigorous, analytical, willingness and

·        -  Motivation to work in an international and intercultural context, work under pressure

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE (BRIEF):

·         Logistics assistant is responsible to implement and manage all logistics activates of the Deir Ezzor base, this position will report to the Deir Ezzor Logistic Officer.

General Description of the Role & Main Responsibilities:

·        -  Daily logistics and procurement follow up in Deir Ezzor office when needed.

·        -  Update procurement tracker.

·        -  Monthly vesical assets count.

·        -  Check drivers logbooks.

·       -   Liaise with suppliers to ensure promote and accurate delivery of goods and services and received in good condition as per invoices, delivery notes and packing lists.

·       -   Market assessment through quotations

·       -   Update the price catalogue, supplier list and contract follow up.

·        -  Perform purchase activities as per AFH procurement procedures.

·       -   Receiving of supplier and maintain stock as per stock procedures

·        -  Responsible for the payments for the suppliers

·        -  Weekly reconciliation of purchase files with the cashier for payment

·        -  Periodic physical inventory of stock Maintain all purchase files in orderly manner.

·        -  Submitting monthly report (procurement tracker, physical inventory, other needed Reports) to line manager by monthly basis

·        -  Any other tasks requested by line manager.
