Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Accredited degree in psychology or counseling with clinical or guidance psychology.
At least (2) years of relevant practical experience in psychosocial support.
Familiarity with and use of mental health and social guidelines.
Ability and clear understanding to work with diverse individuals or communities internally.
Knowledge of mental health and psychosocial laws.
Experience in PSS sessions for children.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Good skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with mental health beneficiaries, with strong written
and verbal communication skills, effectively engaging with diverse individuals.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage stress effectively.
Skills in organization and report preparation.
Capacity to interact with diverse cultures and communities.
Knowledge of Protection & MHPSS.
Experience in working with children and providing psychosocial support.
Commitment to meeting deadlines
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and oversee protection and MHPSS programs in alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
Supervise and support field staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Facilitate a positive team environment and encourage professional development.
Collaborate with other departments, local organizations, and stakeholders to ensure integrated service delivery.
Represent the organization in relevant meetings and forums.
Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness.
Collect and analyze data to inform program improvements and reporting.
Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of staff and community partners in protection and MHPSS.
Raise awareness about mental health issues and available services.
Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals.
Maintain accurate records of program activities, incidents, and client interactions.
Prepare regular reports for management and donors on program progress and challenges
