Job Description:
- Coordinate and oversee all psychosocial support activities in safe spaces for women and girls within the local community.
- Provide individual or group psychosocial support where community members can receive compassionate, appropriate, confidential care focused on individuals experiencing fear and trauma.
- Provide psychosocial support to all individuals and families, with referrals for ongoing emotional support and follow-up with other sectors such as mental health and psychosocial support.
- Establish support groups for individuals and caregivers to enhance their recovery during their response to distressing events.
- Conduct psycho-educational sessions for individuals and caregivers on effective coping strategies, communication skills, and provide listening sessions.
- Provide collective activities for survivors and other community members focusing on building support networks, community reintegration, fostering trust and skills, and promoting economic empowerment.
- Conduct psychosocial support activities targeting school students and coordinate with school administration to amplify youth voices and address their concerns.
