The purpose of the Position

The Project Officer has been responsible for implementing the operating plans for Project management and using tools to contribute to achieving its goals, and implementation of project.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Officer in the puts the Stakeholders’ satisfaction in the first place in the work through the following tasks:

1- Implementation and follow-up of basic needs activities

a) Studying the basic papers of the project (the agreement, the budget, the proposal) in a detailed scrutiny and understanding them accurately and completely.

b) Preparing project implementation plans and submitting them to the project coordinator

c) Lead the scheduling and planning of planned activities for the project and produce work plans in agreement with the Projects Coordinator.

d) Closely following up on the implementation of project activities through close follow-up with the Operations Department and the Development and Grants Department or its affiliates in the project with regard to (human resources, finance, procurement, media and media appearances, information management, security checks, monitoring and evaluation)

e) Receiving and managing financial covenants

f) Regular travel to project sites and support the project team as needed.

g) Contribute to managing the project closing process.

h) Ensure that the program/project/center objectives and plans are implemented on time, on budget and in compliance with donor/partner/other stakeholders compliance requirements.

i) Follow up on the implementation of contracts with suppliers by assigning tasks and identifying expected deliverables in coordination with the logistics team

j) Comply with the Code of Conduct and Child Protection and Sexual Exploitation policies.

2- Coordination and communication with stakeholders

a) Preparing a stakeholder analysis matrix and submitting it to the project coordinator

b) Preparing the risk matrix and submitting it to the project coordinator

c) Coordination of related meetings with stakeholders

d) Communicate with the donor within the limits of his requests within the agreement and try to fulfill his requests optimally outside the limits of the agreement, in coordination with the project coordinators.

e) Following up and exchanging information periodically about everything related to project implementation with the Projects coordinator.

f) Participate in interview committees with project staff and provide appropriate support and training after appointment.

g) Ensure appropriate professional relationships with community leaders, local NGOs and other community organizations.

3- Data management and reporting

a) Submit periodic project reports to the Projects Coordinator

b) Archiving project files, paper and electronic, according to the archiving policy approved by the Programs Department

c) Publish the plan on Planner and all other tools

المعرفة والمهارات المطلوبة

Education

A bachelor’s degree in the social sciences with significant experience in civil society projects.

Experiences

1. Experience in handling complex projects funded by major multilateral or bilateral donor agencies.

2. Demonstrated field leadership in strategic Project and project development, implementation, and evaluation.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Entrepreneurial orientation, self-starter able to work independently and cope with demanding work situations in complex setting.

5. Excellent English communication skills (written and oral
