The Human Resources HR Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the various human resource functions of Syria's country program. This includes supporting HR functions according to Local HR policies and procedures.
Under the support of the HR Officer, the HR Assistant will actively participate in managing the incentive workers selection process, onboarding, and personnel file updates. Support monthly payments, handle identity card requests, and assist in field position recruitment processes.
● Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the IRC HR Handbooks, support employee interpretations, and maintain compliance.
● Handle tasks and duties related to the incentive workers selection process including the advertisement, longlisting, conducting interviews, and giving offers.
● Ensure proper onboarding documents for incentive workers.
● update the personnel files for the incentive workers.
● Support the monthly payment process of the incentive workers by updating required changes to the HR officer.
● Key focal staff for all Identity card requests for incentive workers
● Assist the recruitment team in all field position recruitment processes, including posting vacancies and facilitating interview arrangements.
● Manage staff’s leave requests, ensuring adherence to IRC's policies.
● Follow up with staff regarding timesheets and ensure timely submission.
● Scanning and archiving all required HR documents.
● Perform other job-related tasks as requested by the supervisor.
● University or Institute studies
● At least one year of experience in HR.
● Professional experience with INGOs/NGOs and/or international experience is a plus; interest in the humanitarian field is preferred.
● Strong multitasking abilities, adept at handling pressure.
● Effective teamwork skills.
● Good reporting skills
● good in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Language/Travel:
● Fluency in Arabic Language
● Intermediate in English language
