- At least 4 years’ professional work experience in Programs development and Project Management.
- 4 years’ previous experience with NGOs
- Strong language proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and implementing projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Project and Program management:
- Ensure that non-medical projects are well implemented and successfully completed in total accordance with organization standards and donors’ requirements.
- Ensure regular field visits to different project sites within northeast Syria.
- Provide overall guidance and support to non-medical projects in Northeast Syria.
- Ensure follow-up and coaching of non-medical Project Managers.
- Support in preparing projects’ management plans and tools and review them regularly.
- Make sure that every project has up to date project management tools according to AFH standardized templates.
- Make sure that budget tracking and control measures are in place and followed by PMs.
- Participate in Indicator tracking tools meeting and ensure that action plans are put in place to achieve project objectives
- Participate in Budget Variance Analysis meetings and put in place action plans to avoid over/underspending of budgets.
- Organize and lead regular meetings with program team and Project Managers
- Share updates with area Manager and Head of Programmes regularly
- Attend interdepartmental meetings and coordinate with different departments to make sure that the projects are implemented as per the agreed plans.
- Manage project resources, including budgets, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to project budgets.
- Ensure review of reports and timely submission of quality reports to donors and partners.
Business Development:
- Coordinate with MEAL department to identify and agree upon possible areas and sectors to conduct Needs assessments and MSNAs.
- In coordination with the Programs Manager, identify potential opportunities relevant for the organization’s thematic areas.
- Participate in drafting Concept Notes and Proposals.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and oversee project quality assurance and control measures.
- Ensure project activities meet established standards and specifications.
- Make sure that the project management tools are standardized and mainstreamed among Project managers.
- Ensure that proper archiving mechanisms are implemented and adhered to by PMs.
- Review donor agreements and ensure strict adherence to the rules and regulations.

Coordination and Representations:
- Build positive relationships with donors, local communities, and partner organizations.
- Represent AFH in meetings and workshops related to non-medical programs.
- Ensure that AFH is well-presented in all non-medical working groups relative to the organization strategic objectives and thematic areas.
Additioal tasks:
- The Program Coordinator will perform additional relevant tasks assigned by line manager
